What is Noboribetsu Onsen?
The origin of "Noboribetsu" is said to be the Ainu language which means cloudy white river. The Noboribetsu hot springs have sprung out so much that it changes the color of the river. What makes Noboribetsu hot springs special is that there are 9 different kinds of hot springs in the area. Those rich hot springs have cured people for long time. Now Noboribetsu onsen is one of the most famous hot springs in Japan.

How to get to Noboribetsu Onsen?
- 1. By JR from New Chitose International airport
- From the airport, take airport express to Minami Chitose station for 3 min. and transfer to "Super Hokuto Express" to Noboribetsu station. It takes about 40min. And then take a local bus to Noboribetsu Onsen for about 10 min.
- 2. By bus from New Chitose International airport
- There is an express bus directly to Noboribetsu Onsen called "Noboribetsu Airport-go". Or take "Hayabusa-go" to Nobotibetsu station and then transfer to a shuttle bus to Noboribetsu Onsen area. It takes about 75 min.
- 3. By JR from Hakodate Station
- From Hakodate station you can take "Super Hokuto Express" to Noboribetsu Station for 2 hours and 25 min. And then take a local bus to Noboribetsu Onsen area for 10 min.
