What is Dogo Onsen?

Dogo onsen ( hot springs ) is the one of the famous hot springs in Japan. Dogo onsen as well as other famous hot springs like Arima Onsen and Kusatsu Onsen has over-1000-year history, of which legends says an injured egret had her knee healed by the hot spring. The temperature of hte hot springs is between 20 to 55 degree Celsius and they are blended 42 dedree Celsius without reheating or adding water so that you can get it directly from the source. With its alkaline hot spring water it's very gentle on your skin and ideal for beauty treatment.
